This addresses diseases and conditions affecting the nose and the sinuses.  These include running nose, sneezing, blockage of the nose (with or without snoring), heaviness of the face (clouding of the face), pain on the face or headaches affecting the front of the face and temples. Nose bleeding and tumours (growths/masses) affecting the nose. Fractures of the bones of the nose and other injuries caused by road traffic accidents and sports are also included here. We also undertake cosmetic surgeries involving the nose.

Our clinic is equipped with both rigid and flexible nasal endoscopes to enable us examine the nose and the sinuses to help us make accurate diagnosis.

Our theatre is equipped with an endoscopy tower and endoscopes to help us undertake complex surgeries such as Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS).

Cautery (both diathermy and chemical) are commonly undertaken in our clinic to treat nose bleeding.

This involves diseases and conditions affecting the air pipe (throat), the voice box and the surrounding areas. The commonest of these conditions are throat irritation and cough (either due to allergy or infection), throat pains, “feeling like something is stuck in the throat” (globus pharyngeus), hoarseness of voice, difficulty in breathing and or swallowing. We also manage patients with foreign bodies in the throat such as fish bone and coins.

Treatment of tumours and cancers of the throat is offered in our clinic.

Here we diagnose and manage diseases and conditions affecting the ears such ear syringing to clean accumulated and impacted earwax, infections of the ears with or without pus discharge, fungal infection of the ears (otomycosis), perforated ear drums either due to infection or injury.

We do hearing tests and manage any hearing loss (deafness) either medically, surgically or use of hearing aids.

Video-otoscopy and examination under anesthesia are also undertaken in our clinic to help in arriving at accurate diagnosis.

Repair of perforated ear drums and removal of tumours and masses in the ears is undertaken in our theatre.

The neck is a complicated structure which acts as the joint between the head (including brain) and the rest of the body.

We usually encounter many benign and malignant tomours/growths in this area. These include but not limited to goiters.

We specialize in diagnosing and treating problems such as speech difficulty, delay in speech development and abnormal voice articulation.

Here we deal with problems associated with voice such as hoarseness and vocal strain. These may have been caused by injuries to the neck as a result of road traffic accidents.

Hoarseness can also result from vocal cord nodules or polyps due to voice overuse.

Surgeries such as thyroidectomy can cause injury to the recurrent laryngeal nerve resulting in voice abnormalities.

Patient presenting with hearing loss and or deafness are examined through video otoscopy and appropriate remedies given such as removal of impacted wax the ears through ear syringing or repair of perforated ear drums through surgery.

Hearing tests are also done to ascertain the level of hearing and hearing aids dispensed to those with low hearing levels/ deafness.

We treat/ manage children with feeding and sleeping disorders such as failure to thrive (failure to add weight as expected), snoring with sleep apnoea. 

Vomiting or choking during feeding, taking too long before swallowing food are other examples of pediatric abnormalities.
